Chauvin House Receives Sonata Award

After hundreds of entries were submitted and tallied in the months leading up to the second annual Louisiana Homes and Gardens 2009 Residential Design Awards Program, an esteemed panel of judges selected the winners in each category from applicants throughout the state. The panel of judges included Beth Claybourn of Beth Claiborne Interiors; Phillip Tebbutt, associate professor of interior design at LSU; and NancyRobbins of Nancy Robbins Interiors.

Sonata Awards were presented to some of Louisiana’s finest talent in the design industry at the 2009 design awards banquet, held October 4 at the historic Houmas House Plantation in Darrow.

The Chauvin House recieved the award for Architectural Design: Contemporary.
