Cassie Ragan believes the partnership forged between the client and the architect lasts far beyond their time spent actively working together.

After all, the buildings and new designs that come from this work endure long after a contract is wrapped up. If done right, each project will add value to its community and stand as a success for the architect, the client and all who use the finished product.

This understanding is what guides her holistic approach, one that keeps the client involved throughout the process and produces customized solutions.

Cassie began her career with Holly and Smith in 1989 after graduating with a degree in architecture from Louisiana State University. She received her architectural license in 1993 and became a member of the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. She headed up Holly & Smith’s interior design area for many years before being named a principal at the firm in 2007.

Cassie is committed to the Hammond community and volunteers her time and professional skills to benefit the area. She is active in the Hammond Chamber of Commerce, the Hammond Ponchatoula Sun Risers Rotary Club, and PRIDE (Positive Role Models in the Development of Excellence). She unwinds by teaching fitness classes at a local health club and enjoys spending time at home with her husband, Tom and their sons, Clayton and Jackson.
