Nathan Fell, AIA, LEED AP
Architect
Nathan Fell understands the need to incorporate both the big picture and the fine details in a project, but there’s another perspective that’s just as important to him. It was the subjective nature of architecture that first drew him to the field, after all, and today he always takes the time to consider how others will view and ultimately experience a design. He enjoys balancing differing but equally-valid opinions to achieve the best results.
Nathan earned his bachelor’s degree in design from Clemson University and worked with a number of New Orleans firms before returning to Clemson to earn a master’s degree in architecture. From 2003 to 2010 he lived in Chicago and worked as project manager, designer and architect on a range of residential, commercial and institutional projects.
During his career he has honed skills with cutting edge Building Information Modeling technology, and he has earned LEED accreditation.
His work has won recognition in the Layers of the Landscape National Design Competition in Charleston, S.C., and in the Urban-Open International Design Competition in Chicago. Nathan joined Holly & Smith in 2010.
