Bill Petersen, Jr. AIA

Architect

Bill originally hails from Denver, Colorado, where he earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design from CU-Boulder. He subsequently practiced his chosen profession for a few small design firms in Colorado before relocating to the DC metro area in 2001, where he worked on large civic and mixed-use projects in the region. Bill acquired his Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech through the Washington Alexandria Architecture Consortium. He then relocated to New Orleans in 2009 with his future wife, where both are practicing architects.

A long-standing interest in sustainable design continues to inspire and drive Bill to make every project better for its users and the environment. As a design and detail-oriented licensed architect with over 20 years of experience in environmentally sustainable design, Bill has worked across a broad range of project types and scales throughout the United States. From institutional, adaptive reuse, mixed-use, civic, multi-family, and private residence, he applies creative and integrated design thinking to develop holistic and forward-thinking design solutions for complex projects in need of a high level of design and the technical capabilities to meet and exceed client and owner goals and project objectives.
