Christie Badinger, Assoc. AIA

Emerging Professional

Christie Badinger has shown a passion for problem-solving in architecture since she was a child. One of her earliest memories of enjoying the complexity of architecture was to analyze existing floor plans and create new and better ways for flow and function.

After receiving her Associate’s Degree in Architecture from Delgado Community College in New Orleans, Christie continued her pursuit for her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Houston and graduated magna cum laude in 2013. While in school, she was also working within a large architecture firm in Houston, developing local and international projects within the hospitality studio.

Shortly after graduation, she returned to New Orleans and joined Holly & Smith Architects. Christie has also brought her 10 years of professional experience in Revit to H/S and leads the firm in development and production within Revit.

In her own time, Christie enjoys volunteering within the community by helping to feed the homeless through Grace at the Greenlight and volunteering in community architecture projects such as CASA Playhouse design and Canstruction.”
