Program: Adaptive reuse of 100-year old plus, historic structures into a 10,000 sq. ft. mixed-use facility. The first level consist of salon, day spa and cafe with the second level being six apartment units. Design was required to adhere to tax credit guidelines. Solution: Historic functional spaces to remain; bank lobby to be salon; offices to be spa treatment room; retail to be cafe; and second floor offices to be apartments. Create carriageway through main facade into a courtyard to access apartments on second floor. Maintain and enhance existing historic building materials.
