Holly & Smith Architects is looking to expand our team of licensed professionals for both the New Orleans and Hammond offices with enthusiastic team players, who enjoy working in a collaborative environment.   • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with 3-5 years of experience
  • Ability to initiate and develop Construction Documents
  • Assisting the Project Manager in adhering to project design schedules and budgets
  • REVIT knowledge is mandatory.
  • Ability to generate 3-D Visual Models and Animations is a plus
  • Demonstrate a general knowledge of building codes, standards, and material assemblies
  • Interest or involvement in Community Engagement, LEED, WELL, or Sustainable Practices, are all added benefits
  • Strong teamwork, problem solving and organizational skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
  • 3-5 years experience in Commercial Interior Design
  • Licensed Interior Designer is a plus

Technical Skills:

  • Strong organizational, graphic, written, and verbal communication skills
  • REVIT knowledge is mandatory
  • Proficiency in using Excel, InDesign, Photoshop is preferred
  • Rendering capability in 3-D programs / ENSCAPE is a plus

Medical Architect

Holly & Smith Architects is looking to expand our team of licensed professionals in the arena of Healthcare Architecture. Our Firm has experienced a recent increase in healthcare, wellness, and rehab-related projects, particularly throughout southern Louisiana.

To be considered for this position, candidates should demonstrate experience, reasonable knowledge, or expertise in medically intensive projects, in particular as it pertains to the Department of Health and Hospitals and FGI Guidelines. Candidates are preferred to be a Licensed Architect, with exceptions based on an individual’s specific medical capabilities and experience. ACHA Certification is a definite plus, as well as interest or participation in ASHE or IWBI.

Candidates would be expected to lead a team of Architects and Engineering Consultants in the programming and space planning efforts and provide guidance applicable to healthcare-related codes and regulations. Candidates need not possess the ability to produce in REVIT; however, that attribute is a plus.

Competitive salaries will be entertained comparable to a candidate’s experience, leadership capabilities, and level of performance. Candidates should consider that limited travel will be included as part of typical projects throughout southern Louisiana and Mississippi.   Positions are considered available for our Hammond and New Orleans offices, as well as a new office opening in Lafayette.
