Holly & Smith Announces Matthew Romano as a Newly Licensed Architect

Holly & Smith Architects is proud to announce that Matthew Romano has successfully completed the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) and is now a licensed architect.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2020. After graduation, he spent a year working alongside a landscape architect, gaining valuable experience in design and construction before returning to UL Lafayette to pursue his Master of Architecture, which he completed in 2023. He joined Holly & Smith Architects shortly thereafter and has become a valued member of the team, contributing to projects with creativity, dedication, and a strong attention to detail.

The ARE, administered by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), is a rigorous, multi-division examination that assesses the knowledge and skills required to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Successfully completing the exam is a significant achievement that reflects years of education, practical experience, and commitment to the profession.

Congratulations, Matt, on this milestone achievement. We are proud to have you as part of the H/S team and look forward to celebrating your continued success.
