To be considered for this position, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Professional degree in Architecture with 5-7 years of experience 
  • The ability to manage, advance, and coordinate Construction Documents
  • Assisting the Project Manager in adhering to project design schedules and budgets
  • Proven ability to lead small teams and manage projects independently
  • REVIT knowledge is mandatory
  • Ability to generate 3-D Visual Models and Animations is a plus
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of building codes, standards, material specifications, and assemblies
  • Knowledge and ability to coordinate Consulting Engineer’s deliverables is a plus 
  • Interest or involvement in Community Engagement, LEED, WELL, or Sustainable Practices are all added benefits
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet changing deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
  • 6-10 years experience in Commercial Interior Design
  • Licensed Interior Designer is a plus
  • Creative ability and thoughtful insight

Technical Skills:

  • Strong organizational, graphic, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in REVIT is mandatory
  • Proficiency in using Excel, InDesign, Photoshop is preferred
  • Rendering capability in 3-D programs / ENSCAPE is a plus
  • Limited knowledge of AutoCAD / Sketchup
  • Ability to work with a team of other design professionals, including Architects, Engineers, and Contractors
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects, often against tight deadlines

Join Our Growing Marketing Team

As Holly & Smith Architects continues to expand across Louisiana with three studio locations, we are seeking a dedicated and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Marketing Assistant will work closely with our Marketing Manager to execute marketing strategies, manage digital content, assist with proposal and collateral development, and support internal and external communications. This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative environment where creative thinking, organization, and initiative are highly valued.

By expanding the marketing team, we can continue delivering high-quality, consistent marketing efforts, increase visibility, and better support the firm’s evolving needs across all studio locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling and creating social media content
  • Manage routine updates to the firm’s website
  • Draft initial company news articles and project communications
  • Organize and update RFQ materials and marketing templates
  • Maintain image libraries and client feedback databases
  • Support the development of marketing collateral
  • Help coordinate photography, video, and event coverage

Qualifications:

  • Desired degree in either Marketing, Business or Graphic Design, but not required.
  • Basic familiarity with marketing tools (social media platforms, CRM, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in architecture, design, or the A/E/C industry is a plus

Position Type:

Open to full-time or part-time candidates with salary and benefits commensurate to experience and availability.  

Location:

In order to work in a more direct setting with our current Marketing Manager, the desired location for this position is intended for our Hammond office location. However, candidates in the New Orleans or Lafayette markets will be considered, with the understanding that periodic travel may be required.
