  • Professional degree in Architecture with 5-7 years of experience 
  • The ability to manage, advance, and coordinate Construction Documents
  • Assisting the Project Manager in adhering to project design schedules and budgets
  • Proven ability to lead small teams and manage projects independently
  • REVIT knowledge is mandatory
  • Ability to generate 3-D Visual Models and Animations is a plus
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of building codes, standards, material specifications, and assemblies
  • Knowledge and ability to coordinate Consulting Engineer’s deliverables is a plus 
  • Interest or involvement in Community Engagement, LEED, WELL, or Sustainable Practices are all added benefits

Holly & Smith Architects is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support pursuits, firm marketing initiatives, and overall marketing operations. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who can take initiative, manage deadlines, and contribute thoughtfully within a collaborative environment where creative thinking and organization are highly valued.

This position works closely with the Marketing Manager and firm leadership.

Position based in Hammond. Hybrid consideration for New Orleans-based candidates.

Responsibilities

Pursuits & Business Development

  • Assist with preparation of RFQs, RFPs, and interview materials
  • Coordinate schedules, materials, and internal communication
  • Maintain resumes, project sheets, and marketing collateral
  • Ensure quality and consistency across submittals

Firm Marketing & Communications

  • Assist with website updates and project storytelling
  • Manage day-to-day social media planning, scheduling, and execution in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
  • Assist in coordinating award submissions

Marketing Operations

  • Maintain organization across templates, systems, and workflows
  • Track deadlines and marketing activity
  • Contribute to process improvements and consistency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of marketing experience (AEC industry experience preferred)
  • Experience supporting proposals and/or business development efforts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (required); Illustrator and Photoshop preferred
  • Familiarity with Canva and Microsoft Office

Work Environment & Location

Primary office location is Hammond, Louisiana. Hybrid arrangements may be considered for strong candidates, particularly those based in the Greater New Orleans area. Occasional travel between offices may be required.

Holly & Smith Architects is seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage the firm’s administrative and financial functions. This position is based in our Hammond office and supports operations across all studios.

To be considered for this position, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration or Accounting, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Ability to collaborate with firm owners and principals
  • Experience directing and implementing accounting and project management accounting functions through project management software
  • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and job costing
  • Experience administering company 401(k) programs
  • Budgeting and cash flow management expertise
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
