As an Emerging Interior Designer, Alaina brings a passion for creating thoughtful, functional spaces that enhance the user experience and support client goals. She joined Holly & Smith Architects in 2026 after earning a Bachelor of Interior Design degree and a minor in Business from Louisiana State University, following an internship with the firm during her final year of study.

Alaina supports the firm’s interior design team through space planning, material selection, furniture specification, design visualization, and project documentation. Drawn to design from an early age, she enjoys the creative problem-solving involved in shaping environments that are both practical and engaging while helping clients bring their vision to life.

Outside of work, Alaina enjoys kayaking, reading, attending music festivals, and traveling. Inspired by different cultures and experiences, she spent five months living in Italy during her studies and looks forward to continuing to explore new places and perspectives throughout her career and personal life.
