Austin has always loved to be creative. Growing up, his parents loved fixing up their home, so from an early age, he found himself installing floors and doors and choosing paint colors. Before he knew it, he was in love with architecture and design.

He pursued his bachelor’s and master’s in Architecture at the University of Louisiana. In school, he traveled to cities like Chicago, New York, Boston, and Atlanta. His time traveling to new cities with his studio class and learning about architecture at Fletcher Hall fostered his ambition and appreciation for design. He gained a position at Holly & Smith Architects after graduation and finds himself growing a deeper understanding of architecture and the built environment.

In his free time, Austin loves to walk around and explore New Orleans. He also enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and catching the latest movies in theaters. He also loves traveling back to Lafayette to visit family.
