Avery Fournet, Assoc. AIA

Emerging Professional

Growing up, Avery has always loved to imagine and draw. Relocating from Paynesville, MN, to pursue her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in architecture at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Avery consistently sought to broaden her knowledge and embrace innovation in her projects. Notably, she contributed to the Design Build class’s House of Cards project, an artist retreat cabin in Arnaudville made of concrete.

She gained a position at Holly and Smith Architects after graduation, where her appreciation for architecture and the design process continues to grow.

Avery likes to spend her free time at home with her two dogs, Kai and Lotti. She also enjoys playing cards, reading, and the occasional video game. She loves to travel to Minnesota to visit her parents and to Denver, Colorado, to visit friends and family.
