Ethan Bosch, Assoc. AIA
Emerging Professional
Architecture has been a constant presence in Ethan’s life, shaped by his early exposure to international travel and by his mother, an architecture enthusiast. Having visited more than 20 countries, he developed an appreciation for architecture through experiencing places, which evolved into a deeper interest in designing them during his time in college.
During his academic career, Ethan developed a strong interest in monumental, geometric, and concept-driven architecture that explores the emotional and cultural dimensions of space. His award-winning thesis project, which received first-place recognition, explored how nostalgia, memory, and collective grief can be expressed through architecture. Centered on the design of a Memory Object Archive, the project envisioned a place where individuals could deposit personal objects tied to meaningful moments and record the stories connected to them, allowing individual experiences to contribute to a shared narrative of remembrance.
Ethan also has a strong interest in landscape architecture and plans to pursue licensure in both architecture and landscape architecture.
He earned his Master of Architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2025 and joined Holly and Smith in early 2026.
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys playing tennis, reading on his porch, and taking walks with his 13-year-old Shih Tzu, Beignet. He hopes to one day visit Japan and Mexico to experience the work of architects Tadao Ando and Luis Barragan in person.
