Though Kevin formally joined H/S in 2010, his ideas and abilities had imbued a number of the firm’s projects for years beforehand. The New Orleans native
earned his architecture degree from Louisiana State University in 1995. He previously worked with prominent firms within the New Orleans area over
the last 12 years and in 2007 formed his own firm, kmostudio, located in downtown New Orleans. With his zeal for creating distinctive, quality architecture
and his talent for collaboration, he quickly built a rapport with H/S. As this relationship grew, Kevin became the natural choice to lead a New Orleans
studio for H/S and represent the firm in this market. Clients say his ability to demonstrate complex architectural concepts in straightforward terms
helps them feel fully engaged in the design process and fosters a richer sense of their ownership in the project. For Kevin, building that connection
between the client, the designer’s vision and the finished product is the greatest reward.
His professional drive is balanced by family life with his wife and three sons. When he’s not on the job, Kevin often can be found with them at youth sporting
events, looking for lost balls on the golf course or loading the boat with trout from local waters.
