Robin Roussel, IIDA

Interior Designer

Robin discovered her passion for design as a young child, inspired by watching her father build custom millwork and design their family home in rural Braithwaite, Louisiana. She knew back then that Interior Design was in her future.

She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s of Interior Design degree from LSU’s School of Architecture and is today a Louisiana licensed Interior Designer.  With over 25 years of experience, she developed a diverse portfolio of projects including corporate office, educational, healthcare, assisted living, adaptive reuse and restoration, and governmental design.

Her extensive background covers the entire project scope from programming and space planning, design development, code review, working drawings, and construction administration. She pays particular attention to the fine details of every project and thrives on exceeding the client’s expectations.

Robin approaches every project with enthusiasm and dedication.  She is known for her creative problem-solving and attention to detail. Her passion is to positively impact her clients’ environments.

Outside the office, she enjoys gardening and cooking for her family. She is married, has 3 children and 3 dogs. Robin is dedicated to her family and work and is looking forward to the future with Holly and Smith Architects and upcoming travels around the world.
