Michael Holly and Mary Mowad Guiteau Featured in Business Report’s 2026 Capital Region 500

Holly & Smith Architects is pleased to announce that Michael F. Holly, Founder and Board Chair, and Mary Mowad Guiteau, Associate Principal and Director of Interior Design, have been featured in Business Report’s 2026 Capital Region 500.

The annual publication recognizes influential leaders from across the Capital Region who are making an impact through business, public service, education, and community involvement.

For more than four decades, Michael has helped shape the built environment through projects in education, government, historic preservation, and community development. In addition to leading the growth of H/S, he has been an advocate for the architectural profession and educational facility planning through his involvement with organizations including the Louisiana State Board of Architectural Examiners and the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE).

Mary has built a career creating spaces that enhance how people live, work, learn, and connect. Her work has helped advance workplace design throughout the state, including her leadership in developing updated workplace standards for Louisiana state office buildings. She has also played a key role in the growth of the interior design practice at H/S and was named Associate Principal in 2022.

We are pleased to see both Michael and Mary recognized among this year’s Capital Region 500 leaders and congratulate them on this achievement.
